Wrike is a good task management application. However, it was clearly designed with employees’ needs in mind. Wrike lacks some features that are crucial to leaders, so it might not be the best choice if you’re a manager or business owner.
Basecamp is a light and minimalistic app - one could even argue, too much so. It can offer little to leaders who need to manage anything bigger than a small team. It also does not by any means facilitate the Agile approach, which is by now considered nigh industry standard.
Smartsheet is a decent option for a management app. It allows for some amount of planning and Agile management. Unfortunately, we can’t call it the best for a number of reasons, including its awkward pricing policy and lack of modern planning features, such as OKRs and KSFs.
Would it be a stretch to say that by now we all know what Jira is, and more importantly, is not? It’s got features and it’s got its uses. What it does not have is an intuitive interface and simple introduction. To top it off, Jira is also one of the more costly apps.
Trello is a great task manager. For other management and planning needs, not so much. You’d have to combine it with other tools to cover all aspects of project management. Or, you could use an all-in-one solution that has all those features already implemented.
Asana is yet another popular project management tool. It’s got an abundance of features, which can at times turn into overabundance and needless complexity. Surely it’s possible to have everything you need for planning and management, while keeping things simple and intuitive?
See how you can benefit from this top-tier planning and management tool!
